Amazon and Walmart consider issuing their own stablecoins

Recently, it was reported that large multinational companies have recently discussed issuing their own stablecoins in the United States, including Amazon and Walmart.
Expedia Group and airlines have also had similar discussions. Stablecoins are crypto tokens that are usually pegged to currencies such as the US dollar, making them more suitable for payments than more volatile currencies.
Donald Trump's return to power and the relevant bills being considered by Congress have rekindled enthusiasm for stablecoins. Supporters believe that stablecoins can significantly reduce the cost of payments and transfers. Tether Holdings SA's USDT is the largest stablecoin to date, with issuance soaring to $155 billion.
