HUAWEI Pocket 2 Flip Edition gets a revamped version with a new Kirin chip

Huawei has launched its Pocket 2 Premium Edition foldable smartphone. Compared to the original version, the novelty received a more powerful processor with the release of the 2024 model, while its price, on the contrary, fell.

The smartphone has saved a 6.94-inch main screen with a resolution of 2690x1136 pixels and a frequency of up to 120 Hz, as well as an auxiliary antenna with a diameter of 1.15 inches. The Kirin 9020A processor is responsible for the performance of the HUAWEI Pocket 2 Premium Edition.

The rear camera module of the smartphone includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide angle, a telephoto (8 MP, 3x optical zoom) and a spectral sensor with 2 MP resolution. The smartphone supports proprietary XMAGE technology and the XD Fusion Pro engine for improving photo quality.

A 4520 mAh battery with 66W fast charging is responsible for the autonomy of the novelty. IPX8 waterproof protection, the ability to expand the drive using NM memory cards, and Wi-Fi 6 and NFC modules complement the list of features.

The HUAWEI Pocket 2 Premium Edition is available in the Chinese market with 12/256 GB and 12/512 GB of memory, priced at $767 and $837, respectively.
