New version of chatbot Grok can discover new laws of physics and predict championships

Elon Musk and his company xAI officially announced the launch of Grok 4, a new AI that, according to Musk, has become the "smartest AI in human history". The model ranked first in the AI ​​analytics ranking and outperformed its competitors in many metrics. In addition, an advanced version of Grok 4 Heavy was presented, using a parallel multi-agent architecture to improve the accuracy of responses.

Grok 4 has already shown excellent results: the model scored 25.4% on the hardest test of the human final exam, ahead of Gemini 2.5 Pro (21.6%) and OpenAI's o3-pro (21%). And the Grok 4 Heavy version with a multi-agent system showed 44.4% - a level that no public model has reached before. In another benchmark - ARC-AGI-2 from the Arc Prize - Grok 4 scored 16.2%, almost twice as much as the closest competitor facing Claude Opus 4.

According to Musk, Grok 4 is not only able to solve PhD-level academic problems in all disciplines (such as physics or programming), but also to perform more applied tasks: from description generation of video games to prediction of sports events. In voice mode, it can whisper, change intonation and respond faster than ChatGPT. In turn, Grok 4 Heavy works as a research team: several agents at a time analyze the problem and select the best solution.
