Xiaomi releases a portable printer for the Mix Flip 2

Along with the Mix Flip 2 folding smartphone, Xiaomi has released the Pocket Photo Kit accessory for the same model. The new product is a device that allows you to instantly print photos just taken on your smartphone.

The compact body of the Pocket Photo Kit is equipped with a USB Type-C port for connecting to the Mix Flip 2. There is a shutter button, a built-in "fill" flash, and support for voice and gesture control.

The new product supports film filter imitation effects and the Leica watermark overlay function. Polaroid photo paper is used to print photos. In this case, the photos are automatically laminated to protect against moisture and fading.

On the Chinese market, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 Pocket Photo Kit costs $95. Photo paper is purchased separately and costs about $0.70 per sheet, the price of consumables for applying the image is not specified.
