The first PS3 emulator for Android has appeared on Google Play

The first emulator of the PlayStation 3 game console for the Android platform has appeared in the Google Play app store. The program is called aPS3e and this time the source code is open.

Let us remind you that earlier the author of aPS3e made the source code closed, and set a collection amount of $2000 for publication. As a result, the project was removed from GitHub. After a wave of indignation, the author still posted the source code on GitHub, but there is neither a license page nor any mention of it in the Readme.

Despite this, aPS3e has been officially published in Google Play. There is a paid version for $5, which will go to support the project. It is noted that the emulator is still in the early stages of development, so stable performance should not be expected even on a flagship device.
