iPhone models with support for new power saving mode in iOS 26 named

iOS 26 introduces a new Adaptive Power Mode aimed at reducing battery consumption. But although relatively old Apple smartphones are compatible with the latest version of the OS, not all of them have received support for the new feature.

As it turns out, only owners of the following devices will be able to take advantage of the innovation:

iPhone 15 Pro/15 Pro Max.
iPhone 16/16e/16 Plus/16 Pro/16 Pro Max.
Recall that Adaptive Power Mode, as Apple claims, makes “minor adjustments to performance” when it is necessary to extend the battery life of the smartphone. In particular, the display brightness may be slightly reduced or the speed of some tasks may be slightly slowed down.

Adaptive Power Mode is disabled by default. You can activate it in “Settings” in the “Battery” - “Power mode” section.
