Insider: NVIDIA to Release New “Anti-Sanction” GeForce RTX 5090

The X social network has leaked the alleged specifications of the GeForce RTX 5090 DD, a new modification of the NVIDIA flagship, developed taking into account the sanctions restrictions for the Chinese market. According to the source, the new product will be an even more cut-down version of the existing RTX 5090 D.
According to an insider nicknamed MEGAsizeGPU, the future video card will be based on the GB202-240 graphics chip soldered to the PG145 SKU 40 printed circuit board with a design updated in accordance with changes in the VRAM and GPU layout.
According to unofficial information, the GeForce RTX 5090 DD will receive 14,080 CUDA cores (35% less than the stock model) and 24 GB of GDDR7 video memory on a 384-bit bus (25% less). All this, combined with the new power consumption limit, is expected to reduce the performance of the video card by about 20-30% compared to the reference version.
The release date and price of the GeForce RTX 5090 DD are unknown.
